Gerald Olesker

No building is complete                without light.

Gerald Olesker believes that all buildings, no matter the size or location, deserve attention to the architectural details, from lighting to landscape, and from the outside in. Gerald Olesker is the creative and strategic force behind the collaborative groups derived from Architectural Detail Group. Gerald founded  Architectural Detail Group (ADG) to provide custom design and complete fulfillment of architectural details with the highest level of service. Gerald's current endeavor ADG Eco Lighting Products  focuses on reducing energy consumption of lighting by 50% though consultation and innovative product resolution.

Gerald applies his background in Architecture and over 18 years of experience as an Industrial Designer and Project Manager to innovate and collaborate in restorations and new construction. Gerald’s work includes lighting collaboration with KAA Design Group in the restoration of famed Revivalist architect Bertram Goodhue's Moroccan estate, with Lafia/Arvin's remodel of the palatial Buster Keaton Estate, as well as work with Marc Appleton and Associates, Richard Landry, and interior designer Susan Cohen. Architectural Detail Group (ADG) is also the licensee for the Hearst Castle Collection of Decorative Lighting and Iron.

Before founding Architetural Detail Group, Gerald was the Senior Designer for Lantern Masters. He started his career in Architecture at Galper Baldon Associates after earning his Bachelors of Architecture from the California Polytechnic State University in Pomona. Gerald currently serves on the Board of Directors for Cabrillo Music Theater, is Moderator for the Green Panel of the Valley Economic Alliance, and sits on the EO Board of Directors, chairing the Green Affinity Network Think Tank.
